Sopower is founded in 2009, with PECVD Equipment Development transfer program. And Sopower set up a functional film development department for coating film development. In 2010, Sopower has successfully development BackSheet for solar cell module, and certified by TuV. After that the Equipment development department change their business scope to Equipment Parts Development.

Sopower has his own technology to develop different tool parts and variable functional film. With Market Information, Sopower researches and develops films to take over import product, localize technology, and promote key functional film in Taiwan.
